Westport Trading Europe Limited (WTL) – a corporation founded in 1998, over the years has established itself as a reliable EPC Contractor, successfully engineering, constructing and commissioning of a number of advanced oil refining units for the oil refining industry.

- Scoping Study and Technology Design for Integration of a Needle Coke Production Unit into the Delayed Coking unit at Turkmenbashi oil refinery.
- Scoping study and conceptual design for completing the construction and modernization of the DCU and tar-deasphalting unit (SDA).
- Scoping study for construction of the New Crude Vacuum Desalination Unit with a capacity of 1 million tons per year.
- Scoping study, conceptual design, detailed engineering and implementation of the project for modernization of the catalytic reforming unit (CRU-35-11/1000) and construction of the dearomatization unit at the Seydi Oil Refinery.
- Scoping study for construction of the diesel fuel hydro-treating unit at the Seydi Oil Refinery.
- Scoping study for reconstruction of the Crude Vacuum Desalination Unit-6 at the Seydi Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan).

The method is designed for producing petroleum coke to allow regulating the quality and amount of the rerunning feed to increase production of the feed and coke as well to reduce energy consumption per unit of the produced coke.

The method relates to producing road bitumen from petroleum residues of vacuum distillation of highly paraffinic crude oils through reducing the content of paraffins in the residues to acceptable levels.

The method for producing petroleum needle coke by delayed coking, characterized by premixing heavy gas oil of catalytic cracking with an extract of furfural treatment from oil production in an amount of 20-30% of the mixture. Light and heavy coking gas oils are used as a recycle with a recycling ratio of 1.5-2.0.
